AIIMS Rishikesh is a medical college, Hospital, and medical research public university. It is one of the 6Â AIIMS in India established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). Recognized by MCI, the institute operates autonomously and runs numerous medical & allied courses. It is one of the few institutes in the country to offer programs relating to Mental Health and Palliative Care Training with certificate courses in Palliative Care as well.
